Halebury recommended in the Legal 500 for Sport for another year and featured in IT / Telecoms for the first time
Halebury has been recommended in the Legal 500 in the areas of Sport and IT and Telecoms.
This is the third year the firm and its lawyers have been recognised for expertise in Sport and the first time to have been recommended in the area of IT and Telecoms.
For Sports, the directory reads: “The ‘professional, appropriate and pragmatic’ practice at Halebury provides ‘high-quality services alongside a full understanding of the industry’. Raj Koria has ‘a strong pedigree as a sports media lawyer’, and advised Sportfive International on the sales of media rights for the Sochi Winter Olympics and Rio 2016. Clients also recommend Michelle Harris, who has ‘a wide breadth of knowledge, deep experience, and a thorough grasp of detail’. “
For IT / Telecoms, the directory reads: “Halebury acts for BT, HSBC and BSkyB. The ‘excellent’ firm regularly sends lawyers to work with its clients on a full-time basis. Delphine Power is recommended.”
Halebury CEO Denise Nurse comments: “It is a major milestone to be recognized by one of the leading legal directories for work in two of our key areas. As NewLaw becomes an increasingly viable alternative, it will be good to see more firms in this space covered by directories such as the Legal 500 to represent the wide range of choices now available for the buyers of legal services.”
