Halebury hires highly experienced General Counsel from the Telecoms sector
We are delighted to announce that Linda Kabi has joined Halebury. Linda has 30 years experience advising on international Telecoms matters. Linda’s breadth of expertise includes major outsourcing projects, global master service agreements, complex commercial contracts, data protection and privacy issues.
Prior to joining Halebury Linda was General Counsel at Nowtel, an owner-managed leading European calling card provider, including the group’s two Mobile Virtual Network Operators, Now PAYG and Talk Home Mobile. In addition, Linda has spent much of her career working within the telecoms sectors including senior legal counsel roles at BT and Hutchison 3G UK(“3”) and senior interim legal roles at Vodafone, Immarsat, the world leader in 3G global mobile satellite communications, and IPC Information Systems, the US-based leading provider of mission-critical telecommunications equipment and solutions to the world’s largest financial services institutions.
Linda has also spent time in private practice at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP, Slaughter and May, and Norton Rose (now Norton Rose Fulbright) where she trained as a solicitor.
