Halebury climbs TMT tables in this year’s Legal 500
NewLaw firm Halebury received fantastic recognition in this year’s Legal 500 directory, ranking highly in the TMT section for both Sport and IT/ Telecoms.
Having only entered the IT / Telecoms category last year, Halebury has climbed up the tables to the third tier. The Legal 500 reads:
“Halebury is noted for its excellent service and extremely valuable market knowledge and business acumen. Key figures in the firm, which acts for BT, Sky, Ericsson and National Grid, include chair Janvi Patel, CEO Denise Nurse, and pragmatic, professional and collaborative consultant Simon Phillips, who joined from Bird & Bird LLP in September 2015. Also recommended are Ed Rea and Delphine Power, who handle difficult negotiations admirably.”
Halebury continues to rank highly for Sport with mentions for its two Sports lawyers, Raj Koria and Michelle Harris.
“Halebury’s Raj Koria has an excellent reputation as a sports media lawyer. Highlights included advising Lagardre Sports Geneva on the Rio 2016 Olympics media rights tender across 40 jurisdictions, following on from media rights work for the same client relating to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. Michelle Harris is also recommended.”
Halebury CEO and co-founder Denise Nurse said: “Our team are delighted with the recognition from the Legal 500. It is a great endorsement of the outstanding client work they do as highly experienced senior lawyers. We are also pleased to see NewLaw feature alongside traditional firms reflecting the increasing range of options for the buyers of legal services.”
