Halebury Chairwoman Janvi Patel invited to speak at ‘Enterprising Women’ event
Janvi Patel is delighted to have been invited to speak at The University of Chichester ‘Enterprising Women’ event which is aimed at helping teenage girls to consider the widest range of career possibilities to ensure they reach their full potential.
The ‘Enterprising Women’ event is in its seventh consecutive year and last year was attended by over 150 girls aged 14-16 from local schools and colleges. Previous guest speakers have included Helen Pattison, founder of Montezuma’s Chocolate, Annette Browne, Trading Director of Women’s Wear at Marks and Spencer and Claire Askew, Deputy Editor of Cosmopolitan.
At the event Janvi will be interviewed by groups of 10-15 students on her career pathway from school to building the highly successful alternative law firm Halebury. Janvi will also participate in a business panel where each student group will have the opportunity to ask the panel any questions.
Janvi’s business achievements have been widely recognised. In 2013 Janvi won a Red Hot Women Award (Power Part Time) and is a judge of this year’s Award Panel, was named in the UK’s first ever Power Part Time Top 50 list, is a winner of the Enterprising Women of the Year Award 2013, and was nominated for the Asian Woman of the Year Award in 2013.
As a regular speaker on flexible working and women’s issues, a pioneer within the legal industry and a committee member of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women – Mentoring Programme Janvi is delighted to have the opportunity to speak with young women and help them understand the career options available to them.
The event will take place at the Bognor Regis campus of The University of Chichester on 19th November.
