What do you focus on for your clients
I’m a corporate and commercial lawyer—focused on contracts, company secretarial and governance, and regulatory compliance. Given this broad application, I’m completely sector-agnostic—although in private practice I primarily acted for financial services clients.
Tell us about your professional background
I’ve worked in private practice and in-house in the U.S. and the U.K. My law firm experience includes practicing at Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon LLP; Dewey Ballantine LLP; Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP; Sidley Austin LLP; and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. At each of these firms, I primarily supported financial services clients, covering a variety of securities products. In the corporate sector, I’ve worked at Pfizer Inc. (i.e., pharmaceuticals); AARP (i.e., interest group advocacy); and LexisNexis (i.e., legal analyses and publishing).
Tell us a bit about your working style and other interests
Stemming from my wide-ranging substantive experience, I readily devise and implement comprehensive approaches to solving diverse, multidimensional problems. I enjoy spending time with my family—including Daisy, our Golden Retriever. I’m also a ski nut—devoted to furthering my 10 year old daughter’s interest in the sport despite her many other competing activities and interests.
As the legal market continues to evolve and establish new ways of delivering legal services to clients, it is great to be part of that change.
